Goin' Hoggin - .350 Rem Mag.

Well, I'm not so sure this isn't simply mindless mental mayhem. I'm overthinking this whole thing and I need a bit of a straightening. I've got a hog hunting trip coming up in about a month and have only two more test weekends to get things finalized.

The Gun: Remington 673 topped with a 2-7x Leupold VXII
The load: 200gr. Hornady IL over 58gr. of H4895. Clocks 2,750fps (3450fpe).

I group a pretty consistent 1" with the load - no worries there.

So here's the stupid question: Any point in changing the load? Is that 200gr. Hornady Interlock sufficient enough bullet?

Stick with your load. 1" groups with a 200 gr bullet will put down any hog I have ever seen. Good load. Good luck on your trip.

For California boar, I would have loaded the 250 grainers. But, you'll be fine. You may want to stay away from the head on and neck shots with the 200 grain pills.
