Glock melting point (Nylon 6)

Never seen a melted (partially or otherwise) Glock, but I personally would not trust one that showed signs of heat abuse. Especially since Glock will sell you a new receiver for about $45 (plus transfer fees) if you send them a BATF notice of destruction for the old receiver. I'm ASSuming that the metal slide and components would survive a scorching, but I have no knowledge on that side either. Just food for thought. Anyone else BBQ'd a Glock and have tales to tell?
