Glock Gunsmithing

I'm thinking about changing the sights and the trigger pull on a G22. How does one go about changing the front sight on the glock? Obviously it isn't soldered in, does it just pull out? Also what is involved in changing the trigger pull, to a 3.5 lb variety, I shoot IDPA competition only with my Glock, it's not used for defensive use. Thanks a lot.

The factory front sight is held in by a little wedge pin type of doo-dad-you pull it out with small needle-nose pliers, and pull the sight off upward. The replacement unit will have a teeny hex-key screw.

Brownells sells a 3.5 lb. trigger-pull thang that consists of a replacement connector and a lighter trigger spring. You can polish on the contact area of the connector and get an even lighter, smoother pull if you want. They don't recommend the above for carry/duty use.

Itty bitty, teeny weeny allen screw sounds like snack food for a carpet. Havin a magnet at hand might be good insurance.

Sam.
