Glock Gen 4 grip question

Got a chance to heft the Gen 4 G26 today. Is the grip smaller? Not talking about the backstrap replacements but the whole grip. Kinda like my older G27 better. Also tried out the G22 Gen 4 and it was a toss up over no backstrap or the medium one.

I THINK the back strap that is in place it the same as my Gen 3 G-22.

The standard grip on the gen4 models are slightly smaller than the gen 3.

The first size back strap will put it back to the same size grip as the gen 3, and the large back strap will make it larger still.

I prefer the gen4 grip, even with my larger hands. I also undercut the trigger guard to give the middle finger more room to get tucked up nice and high. It works very well for me.

yes. the gen4 26 grip is 2mm smaller front to back than the gen3 26.

The above post are correct. I have a Gen3 and a Gen4 26. I prefer the Gen4 grip texture but both are great guns.
