Glock Gen 4 backstrap w/beaver tail

Is there such a thing or is it legend? I've read reviews from last spring with anticipated production and sale by July, but it has come and gone and still none to be found. I'm on the fence and may just go with a GFA. Has anyone tried a Glock backstrap with a beavertail? Is Glock going to actually sell them. Please some insider info would be appreciated.

No, that's the GFA. I may buy it, waiting to see if Glock came out with their own. Glock had a factory beavertail back strap at the Shot Show.

The large Gen4 backstrap is what you're referring to. It has a slight beavertail and is more pronounced on the G21 Gen4.


Edit: I stand corrected. I thought the came with the pistols because I watched the shot show video as well.

It isn't rumor or speculation, per se. They did show off one at the shot show last spring. Maybe they decided not to produce it.
