Shooting a G19 at the range yesterday and had 3 jams. All on the last FMJ round in the factory hi cap mag. Me Thinks mag needs a new spring but I wanted to solicit opinions from some of you older more experienced shooters. And no I wasn't limp wristing as I am old but not that limp yet!

I'd start with the mag spring. Most likely candidate.

Sounds absolutely like a Magazine problem, try loading just two rounds and see if this happens every time under controlled conditions. If it does you may want to try wolf springs, they make some nice aftermarket magazine springs. Also Glock may even replace the magazine with a new HiCap. You'd have to give them a ring down in Smyrna GA.

With just a couple of rounds is the mag pound the base of the mag into your hand firmly. If the rounds bounce away from the feed lips its probably too weak to do the job.

I had problems originally on my G23 where the slide would not lock back after the last round. I've installed Wolff springs on all my hi cap mags, and this seems to have solved the problem. They're not perfect, though, and need to be stretched every few months.

My Glock 19 problem is that I don't own one!
