Installed a Ghost Ultimate 3.5lb trigger on my gen 2 Glock 19. Took it out to the range today and it was double firing.
Pulled the trigger once and it rapid fire two shots. One squeeze and *pop*pop*.
At first I thought maybe I was not releasing the trigger all the way and accidentally firing off another shot when it was resetting.
So tried squeezing fully without releasing at all and it still double fired.
Opened up gun, and trigger assembly to see if maybe i installed it wrong, but everything looked fine.
Put it all back together again and it was still double firing. No change.
I reinstalled the stock trigger and it was back to normal. One squeeze - one shot.
Not sure what could be wrong. Tried google'ing it but didn't find much help.
Anyone else had this? I'm ready to return the piece, maybe it's just defective.
Any input is appreciated.
