GFL .380 brass doesn't fit my shellholder?

Kinda weird thing happened today. I scored some GFL .380 brass at the range today and I took it home for sizing, but I couldn't fit it in my Hornady shell holder.

All other brands fit but the GFL wouldn't. It slid into my 9mm shell holder but was too lose.

Anyone else have the same problem?

This is not unheard of at all. The extractor groove is shallower than that of American-made brass. I have also seen it in some lots of S&B brass.

I too have had this problem with European brass. I have both Lee & RCBS shellholders. If one don't work, the other will.

I only have experience with GFL brass in .223 Rem. They are way heavier than any of the other brass that I have used. Though they work just the same. Most times if they do not fit into the shell holder it is becasue the rims are bent.
