Garand bolt spring Direction

I am lubing my Garand for the first time. Two questions one should I put a light coat of oil on all the interior Springs to the bolt Etc? 2. Which direction does the dimple on the exractor plunger spring face when inserting it back into the bolt?

PS When putting it all back together should I put a light coat of oil on anything that doesn't specifically get grease? I am following the Garand and gear guide for greasing this rifle.
Thanks.

The TM and FM are here for free. .pdf format and note the need for the provided UN & PW.
There's no need to take the extractor out for normal cleaning or lubing.
"...a light coat of oil on anything that..." Doesn't hurt but it'll require doing it a lot. Oil will come off under gravity and cycling. Oil also attracts dust, etc. Less is more. None(or grease) at all in extreme cold.
