G36 & 10mm

Is anyone making a 10mm barrel (and spring?) conversion for the G36?

Seems like it would be a win-win conversion - More round(s), same or better power, especially useful for outdoor and wilderness carry.

I like your thinking, but probably not in the future.
Just not enough 36 owners asking for it.

You could contact JR over at Glocktalk, though and ask.

But consider that the glock 29 is the same size, only slightly thicker, and holds ten rounds and takes the 15 round magazine.
Thickness of 1/8 inch doesn't make that much difference in concealment.
The difference between a leather holster and a kydex holster even makes up the difference.

Also, when I was asking around about the advantage of the 21 to 10mm conversions, it was always brought up that the glock 21 slide is thinner than the glock 20 10mm slide, and with full house 10mm loads it was suggested to get the whole upper for safety.

I ended up going with the glock 20 instead of the 21 and conversion.

I'll just get a 30 or 21 in the future.:D
