G30

I am picking up my new G30 tomarrow and am wondering what the best practice ammo would be, and what would you use for SD ammo as well.

For practice with my G30, I use whatever decent-quality FMJ is least expensive at the local gunshop. Generally, that's WWB, American Eagle, or S&B. Good for familiarization and getting in some range time.

For personal defense, I try to keep it simple: Federal 230-gr. Hydra-Shoks.

Thanks for the info, it looks like the weather will be bad this weekend so the indoor range will have to do and they only allow TMJ or HP's so I stocked up today when I picked up my new G30 and am planning a range trip tomorrow
