G22 Gen 4 question

Is there a difference with felt recoil on the Gen 4 Glocks. I was told the new recoil spring allows for quicker follow up shots. Is this a rumor or reality. How do you like your Gen 4 Glocks. I'm looking at 40 cal Glocks and wondering if a Gen 4 would give me any edge for competition shooting at my local club.

i haven't fired a gen3 23, but all my friends that have and also tried out my gen4 23 say there is a little difference, but not much.

rent one, it's subjective. get a 9mm if you don't like the 40cal's recoil. a lot of folks don't.


the full size g22 you're thinking of kicks even less. i don't think you'd have an issue with it.
