I am just curious as to how much will the following full auto cost in the US:

AUG
AUG Commando
M4
M4A1
Stichken APS
Beretta 93R
Glock 18
AK47

Galil

Please feel free to give price on other full autos as this thread may be able to serve price questions that folks may have in mind.

Sorry, 1911, you are wrong. The foreign weirdness deals with importation, not transfer of guns already in the country.

I think the only ones on the list that are flat-out unavailable are the Glock 18 and maybe the Stechkin. I'm pretty sure the only real Glock 18s in the US are dealer-samples. There may be a few 17 conversions that snuck in before 1986. There may be a few Stechkins floating around, but I have never seen one or heard of one being sold.

93Rs are beyond rare. I think there are a two or three transferable 93Rs in the US, the last one sold brought upwards of $100,000 as I remember it.

Lots of people have built M4ish rifles out of transferable M16 parts, so those are cheaper, although not quite the real deal.

Transferable Kalashnikovs are also megabucks guns. Not many around, everyone wants one, supply and demand. Not many made it into the country before 86 except a few Vietnam bringbacks.

Uzis and MP5s are lots cheaper, you see them for sale all the time. Check out the NFA section of Gunbroker.

Imported machineguns were banned in 1968 but plenty of imported semi autos were converted to full auto once in the US and those were available as US made guns till 1986.

If you are talking transferable... Many of these guns were made from semi autos registered as machineguns before 86.

--Between $10,000 to $20,000 depending on the collector value of the lower.

-- I don't think there are any in the registry.

Beretta 93R
-- Very few of these were made in America. I saw a Taurus clone of one sell for over $40,000 a few years ago

Glock 18
-- Post 86 gun. None are transferable.

AK47
-- I recently saw a Polytech that had been converted sell for $14,500 and one that had been converted to Krinkov length sell for $19,000.

UZI
-- Between $5,500 to $8,000 depending on who did the work. Mini Uzis are always top dollar.

MP5
-- $18,000 More if it was converted to a SD.

MP5K
-- $22,000

Galil
-- $20,000


Some of these guns I have not seen for sale for a few years, I am going on memory. Prices may have changed to to fluctuations in the market.

Well looking those prices I dont feel bad paying for full autos here. There are about the half what is listed above, generally.

You can't possibly compare US prices of full-auto weapons to what they would sell for in Pakistan. First, no weapons from Pakistan can be shipped to the US, or the other way around. Second, the high dollar cost of full auto weapons is due to registration. These same weapons, unregsitered, if they were to be sold on the US black market (highly illegal) would cost a tiny fraction of what legally regsitered ones do. You're paying for the registration, not so much for the weapon. So, you can figure that the full-auto weapons are worth about as much as the semi-auto versions - if registration wasn't a factor.

That is incorrect. I have in my possession a rifle imported from Pakistan, made in 1871.

If that is the case, PTK, then you probably know the procedure. I think there are quiete a few antiques floating in the market that can probably be exported.

Too bad that the tribal markets are bombed and raided due this taliban mess, beacuse just about 2007-8, you could find so much of muzzle loading guns their for cheap. I remember when I went their to pick up my HK 91 and to test it out, the owner of the shop insisted that I pick up his muzzle loading guns as a gift but I refused thinking that might ential some other story, as these are sometimes selling gimicks.

Since this is the NFA board, I ASSUMED that everyone knew that we are not talking about antiques, muzzle loaders, knives, or billy clubs.
