I've been to several fullauto shoots, and I really enjoy shooting automatics, I shoot for free because I help the owner of the local shop load magazines for about a week prior to going to the shoot. usually load about 300 to 350 30rd AR mags, about the same for AK47 mags, 100 AK74 mags, 150 or so UZI mags, several drums....yeah and then I get to shoot a couple mags of each for free.
He charges the price of the ammo, plus 15% to shoot.
so youre looking at like.. 7 dollars for 20 box of 223, a 30rd mag takes a box and a half... so 10.50 plus 15% of that...so about 13 dollars to shoot a mag.. cheap when the cleaning factor comes to play.. someone has to clean the weapons..... and that person has to get paid.
