I watched part of the NBC Nightly News at about 5PM PDT on 22 APR and as the anchor began speaking there was a graphic that said "WACO" in big letters on the bottom and what looked somewhat like the burning compound in the graphic background, next to the anchor's head. The anchor started speaking and said (to the best of my recollection):"In today's top head lines the Justice department seized Elian Gonzalez in a pre-dawn raid...." then the WACO graphic disappeared. I was stunned. There are obviously some unhappy engineers in the NBC production facility tonight.

Yeah. I saw that too. Was there any Waco coverage during the telecast? I didn't get to see all of it.

There is another possibility ... perhaps there's at least one person at NBC who can actually think, and has a conscience ...
