I have acquired information from a customer about a FREE SHOOTING RANGE near Auburn, Michigan. That is right, a FREE SHOOTING RANGE!!! The range is located near Auburn, Michigan on Lagoon Drive (1/4 mile south of Wheeler Rd. and 9 Mile Road).
The hours of operation are:
Thursdays 6-8pm August 20 and October 15
Saturdays 9am-4pm July 25, August 8 & 22, Sept. 5, 12, 19, and 26, October 10, 17, 24, and 31, November 7.
From what I understand the range is operated by volunteers from the City of Auburn. I do not have any other particulars other than the above. I know I am going to check it out the next opportunity that I have.
