Found a Unicorn Sig P365

I went in an Academy Monday morning and there it was a Sig P365. The salesperson who knew as much as my cat about guns said it arrived Sunday night and just went into the case this morning. It was priced at $499. I bought it for 10% less by using a gift card, complicated story, then got another $10 off from a coupon in a flyer. Best news is I have fired 100 rounds without any issues. It is not a target gun but I am happy. I advise anyone looking for a 365 to check Academy early Monday morning as they said their gun shipments arrive Sunday night although that might be store specific.

Good deal; best I have seen/heard has been $529 around where I am - IF they can get them. When they do, they are sold out in 30 minutes

Perhaps there is prudence in waiting for version 2.0. No need to pay a premium for the first version, especially when I can't even find one to hold. :)

^^^^^^
Is there a Version 2.0 coming or are they referring to the updated P365 with X-Ray Sights?

So...
If I understand you correctly you paid:
$499.00 > P365
$ 49.90 > 10% (less 10%)
$449.10
$ 10.00 Flyer
$439.10 for P365

Or did they first remove the $10.00 and give you 10% off of $489.00?

Either way that is the BEST deal I've heard yet on a P365.

Unfortunately there are NO Academy outlets in South Florida!

After discounts I paid $440 plus sales tax which is high in Alabama at 10% so my out the door price was about $485.00
I have put another 50 trouble free rounds through the gun. Accuracy is about the same as a Shield or Glock 43. Recoil about the same as Glock, my Shield is a PC model it's recoil is like a 22

Is my gun a version 2.0 or is there a 2.0 to come or is the poster just talking s$it

I was just joking about a version 2.0. There are several manufacturers who place a new gun on the market and within two years or so then make improvements to address identified problems or a version 2.0 so to speak. ;)

Great price. If your gun was mfg. in Late March it is the newer version. On your box it will say BXR3.

My BXR3 was mfg. Mar. 10 and was in my hand Mar. 16th. My LGS has them listed for $515 which I consider to be very fair.
Accuracy wise, this is flat out the most accurate small handgun I have ever fired and the only model I will own a spare.

We ALL can't be as lucky as GroundHog34 and no one local by me has the P365...
OK So, I'm SOLD!
Who is filling orders the fastest.

I see Brownells has the P365 selling for $499.99 + Free Shipping (with an additional $10.00 off if your a new email subscriber)
https://www.brownells.com/firearms/handguns/semi-auto/p365-9mm-3-1-bl-syn-nite-sight-10-1-prod115723.aspx

Omaha Outdoors also lists the P365 for $499.99 (not sure about Free Shipping)
https://www.omahaoutdoors.com/sig-365-9-bxr3

Smokey Mountain Guns also lists $499.99 + Free Shipping
https://www.smga.com/p-128817-new-sig-sauer-p365-micro-high-cap-pistol-2-10rd-mags.aspx

Cabelas:

So, the P365 is popping up on websites but still not locally for me in South Florida.

Brownells seems so far to be the best "Out of Stock" order at $489.00...but then how long for them to fill the order?

If anyone knows of a BBD let us know...

Thanks
