In the picture I attached, notice the left ring and the mounting "cams" on the bottom. I bought a DPMS riser that is touted as a "weaver-style". I also bought the Leupold "cross slot" PRW Rings pictured.
Shouldn't the ring mounting "cam" sit flush with the side of the rail? Even in the picture -- you can see that the sides are not even. Has anybody seen this?
The rings mount tight on the rail, but the one side is cock-eyed. The rings look square from a centerline standpoint, and the ring won't move under firm pressure from my hand, but it looks stupid with the one screw-in cam being cocked of to the side a bit.
