Fitting Beretta 686

I recently got a Beretta 686, but it just doesn't fit me. My Browning BPS is as near perfect as off-the-shelf guns can be, but I haven't shot the 686 much because I can't hit with it! When I shoulder it, the comb is alright, but the drop is messed up - the front bead is a good inch above the rear of the barrel. So... should I go with something like this from Brownells or are there better products out there? Thanks!!

that solution might work. I've had my 686 White Onyx 12g for two years and haven't had any issues. I've used is shooting skeet as well as dove hunting without any issues.

Raise the gun, place the stock on your face with the bead in proper aligment, slide back straight into your shoulder. How does it fit this way?

HSmith,

The alignment is right if I move my cheek aft about 1" to 1.5" - and I suppose I could get used to firing it that way, but it's not natural so I don't think I would do well without consciously adjusting each time.
