Fischer Development Glock "click-on" suppressor

Any ideas anybody how this gadget works? It's simply clipped onto the accessory rail of any G17 or 19 w/o need for a threaded barrel - how can a suppressor function without actually being attached to the barrel?

it would just need a seal between muzzle and silencer, something flexible and heat tolerant, I suspect.

I'd worry more about how they plan to prevent bullet strikes with such loose tolerances between the bottom rail position and the barrel.

You can have a suppressor that isn't even attached to the gun. People build suppressors that are permanently installed at a range. A common design is a number of tires forming a "sideways stack" where the muzzle is placed inside one end of the stack for firing.

No way to achieve a seal between barrel and suppressor with a tilt barrel locking system.
I suspect every shot would seem like a blown primer.
