Of the emergencies that can be solved with the items at hand -I keep this bundle (of quick clot, 4" gauze squares and band aids) in all my tool bags in the same outside pocket with the spare safety glasses. The quick clot works very effectively. A friends finger was gashed open and his blood was squirting from it. The powder got it under control so we wouldn't make a gory mess inside the car on the ride to the hospital.

Nothing wrong with that at all, great stuff to keep around. I have a belt pouch with a number of items in it including Combat Gauze, (Quik Clot), gauze, Kerlix, etc. My range bag has a CAT tourniquet on it to...JUUUST in case.
