Finally, my first rifle

Aside from Eotech, any good sights around say $200?

Congrats on the new rifle! Looks like she should shoot pretty well.

I was at the Sportsman's Warehouse last night and I saw a Vortex dot sight with adjustable dot size and brightness on sale for $160. I thought that it looked like a nice alternative to more expensive units. Clairity and mounting all seemed spot on. I would have bought it, but my HBAR has the sight/handle mounted permanently so it would sit too high for me, but on your new rifle to would be perfect and under your goal of $200.00

Just my opinion, but I would get good with the iron sights already in place and while doing so, save up for the optics you really want, not what you have to settle for due to current budget restraints. Grats on your acquisition by the way!

Try a Millett Sport Dot or Vortex Sparc.

Lot's of choices. I have a Vortex Strikefire that is pretty good out to 260 yards. Has held zero.

I've also heard good things about the Lucid and Primary Arms red dot scopes.

My next scope is going to be a 1-4x Nikon M-223.
