Finally got around to picking up new XD mod 2 .45

And she is home. Have not fired it yet but it is basically a XDm 3.8 9mm except that it is in .45.

Since I have both I will take pictures and show how the compare. Trigger is about the same as well as the height and width. The XDm is about 1/4 of an inch longer.

Here is a picture of the XD mod 2.

Really what the Mod 2 is, is a XD Subcompact with some external changes. Except for the .45. Prior to this Springfield had none of the original design shorter in 45 shorter than 4 inches.
