finally found my ruger

Been looking for a tang safety ruger in 25-06 for about a year. Found it today, actually two of them. The one I picked out of the two was the older 70 serial #. Finish on the gun, and stock is 90%, the only wear is on the floorplate. 335 bucks. Grandad use to carry one, and it's been on my wish list for a long time. From what I could gather on the ruger site, it was made in the 1970's, can't wait to see what she can do. flyboy

I love the old Rugers. My dad has been carrying his 7mag since 71 with excellent results from antelope to elk.

My son has a left hand MKII 270 but I just don't care for the newer safties.
