Hey guys. I finally bought myself an M1 Garand, my favorite battle rifle ever. I think i got a good deal on it, its a harrington & richardson made in 55, and its in real nice condition.

Couple of quick questions,
1: I need an extractor spring and plunger, where can i find one and

2: where can I find a field manual and parts fiche online for one?

Anyway, to the pictars!

I apologize for my novice photo skillz

fulton armory methinks will fill your need for parts. Nice gun. Be wary of the ammo you shoot throuh it, no high powered stuff, stick with milsurp if you can.

Yeah the milsurp stuff is a good deal. 192 rounds IN clips IN a bandoleer, for 80 bucks? Backup the truck over there, Jimmy!

Better deal at CMP. 192 rds in clips and bandoliers, $50.00 in spam can. Greek surplus and it shoots great.

I bght my M1 a year ago from CMP. What a joy to shoot. (and to look at)

Your's looks good

I really like mine once I got it and started shooting and reading about it I realized what a really fine rifle it was and still is.

I've since added the complete buttstock cleaning kit, an original M-1 WW2 bayonet made by Pal, an original M-1923 cartridge belt and about 30 clips.

I put a good grade .308 barrel on mine for ammo supply it's very accurate.

Mine was made in 4/44.

Garands are great rifles looks like you got a nice one I hope you enjoy it.
