FFL in Chicago

Greetings, friends -

Despite all the gun shopping and gun buying I have done, I have never bought anything from anyone over the internet through an FFL.

Anyone know a good (low fee) FFL holder in the Chicago, IL area to deal with?

Can't be many in Cook County, but I'm sure there are some in the suburbs. If I were you, I'd look for the topic on the Kane County gun show April 9th. It's in this forum. The show will be at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles on Randall Road and Rt. 38, and I bet most of the FFLs in the Chicago area (at least South and West of Chicago) will be there. You could go collect a lot of business cards!
Hope that helps. I'm downstate and I just never went toward Chicago to look for a gun shop.

Almost forgot--another way is to go to http://www.gunsamerica.com --click on "Find a local FFL"
You type in your area code and it shows all the dealers who have registered with Gunsamerica to be receivers. That won't be every FFL in your area, probably, but most of them post their fee so you can compare them that way. Good luck.
