Grabbed my shotgun and took a walk this morning. I don't know what it's like everywhere but here in southern Vermont and 30 miles in any direction for that matter game is sparse. Very little deer sign and no game birds other than some turkeys. Haven't seen partridge or woodcock in two years or so. I picked eight deer ticks off my pants and two off my arms while driving home. I wonder if these little devils are responsible for everything else being gone.
