Feinwerkbau Air Rifles

Ok, so my Rifle class at school has started. We are shooting these nifty Feinwerkbau air guns. I love the thing, and wouldn't mind one. However, something about a precision Obendorf airgun screams expensive to me.

How much do these things cost, and where can I find one? I believe the model number of the ones we are using is 300. Also, if they are expensive, is there a cheaper alternative that is similiar? I really liek the side cocking lever over any other airgun action I have tired.

I think I need to scrounge around the used bin. $3000 is a bit rich for me, I'd rather have an M1A, WWII Saginaw M1 Carbine, a Winchester 1917, and Swede m41B Sniper than a precision air rifle.

The new models run around 2K and up.

You can find a used 300 for $400 or so depending on the condition. They're quite durable--made to last for literally millions of shots--and there are folks who work on them in the U.S.

My used FWB 300S Universal cost me $450. ;) :D
