I was lucky enough to win one in an auction for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately the top cover and front stock have been sporterized. Thus the reason for the low price. Other than that the rifle is beautiful and shoots very well. I am wondering if anyone knows of or where a military stock for this rifle could be found. I have seen some repros of the 98/40 stock that I believe would fit fine. I really prefer to have an original military stock.

Supposedly similar to a Mauser M95. The 98/40(M43 in Hungary) was the 8mm Mauser variation done by Germany for W.W. II.
Gunparts is sold out of stock parts for M43's. Issue isn't really the wood as much as it is the metal bits that go with it.
Try this guy's site. Parts sites linked at the bottom.
