Graf and Sons currently has available Federal .300 Win mag "pull down" brass as primed cases, meaning loaded unfired rounds that have been disassembled. Price is something like $68 per 100 and I have a hundred on the way. Pictures of the brass are somewhat hazy but the case head appears to show FC 14 as a date stamp. So perhaps this may have been military sniper ammunition. Good price for the caliber, especially if like me and you prefer Federal brass, and you get a hundred primers thrown in.
Similar Federal 7mm Rem mag pull down is also available at same price (no date stamp on case head).
