Federal Premium Tru-ball slugs

Anybody shooting these? Performance on game?? Accuracy from a smoothbore?

I picked some up today on a whim (they were on sale). Gonna try them out at the range this weekend hopefully. Just trying to see if anyone else is shooting them and how they are workin for ya.

I tried them last year before the price went up. I usually shoot the plain Jane F127RS load. They grouped about the same at 75 yards; were a bit better at 50 but still not one hole groups. I shot some of the "new and improved" RP sluggers that day and I must say that the accuracy HAS improved substantially over the old load. I actually had a 3 shot group at 50 that was a shamrock- not the 4 inch groups I used to get. The TruBall load seems to shoot to the same POI so I may pick up some more if they go on sale.

Low recoil

I shoot the low recoil version in a semi auto Benelli and a pump Mossberg. Best accuracy of all that I've tried.
