What is a fair price to pay for once fired pistol brass. I am mainly searching for 380, 44 and 357.

if you have a .357 revolver you can shoot .38spcl from it.... i get them for around 50 to 60 bucks per thousand once fired.

Note that "once-fired" brass may be what a lot of people call it... but it doesn't necessarily make it true. Not that there is a problem with it being fired more than once... just that you'll likely NEVER know, and often the guy swapping or selling it to you won't know either. Doesn't make it bad brass, doesn't make him a bad guy... just know going in that it's used brass or range brass but unless it's collected from a police training session or some such thing, there's no guarantee that it's only been fired once.

$40-$60 per thousand is typical and current for something like .380 or 9mm or .40 or .45-- popular and common semi-auto pistol brass that gets chucked out of pistols at shooting ranges.

You can expect higher prices for revolver brass (which isn't automatically flung, so it's not as easy to find scattered across ranges) and also for odd or less popular calibers, which simply isn't as widely available. .357 Sig, 5.7x28, .45 GAP... these will bring a premium price.

.44 Mag will simply cost more, because not as many people are buying it and shooting it up, and so many are reloading it.

One good way for sure to get what you want, what you need, at a set price, and quickly, and KNOW what you have is to contact a producer such as Starline-- who makes terrific brass.
