I need to know what a fair price would be for a 1980 model 19 nickel 4", unfired but no box. A friend of mine wants to buy it, and due to some recent purchases I have exceeded my gun budget and should probably sell one or two. I have another one just like it, so I probably won't miss this one.

Fair price for a model 19

In my neck of the woods, a 98% in NRA excellent
condition would fetch about $350.00. Without the
box, instruction manual, and screwdriver deduct
about $25.00; so the balance would be closer to
$325.00. An 85% condition Smith & Wesson model
19 would most likely bring about $250.00.
