Explorer II Anybody have one?

I have had mine for about 30 years and couldn't tell you how many rabbits and grouse I have taken with it over the years. I put a tasco illuminated reticle scope on it when I bought it "which cost more than the gun at the time" but I have never met anyone else who ever admitted owning one. I know they are ugly but I wouldn't sell it for anything.

Anybody else have one?

I had one of those around 1980. Had a spare magazine in the grip.
I carried it in a small 14' jon boat while fishin creeks. It was accurate
and reliable. The main reason I carried it was, if the boat turned over
and I lost the gun, I wouldn't be heart broken. Killed a bunch of snakes
with that gun.

I have the Henry US Survival rifle, which is the current offering in rifle form. It is the same action, with different stock, and barrel.

I would love to find one like yours, as I think it would make a fun camp/ range gun.

The rifles were made by a few manufacturers, Armalite, Charter Arms, etc., but I don't know about the pistol configuration.
