Euroarms Rem. New Army

I came across a Euroarms rem. '58 with target sights in a shop:

It looks like a gunsmith dovetailed the top strap and put a "stepped" rifle-type open sight and a tall front sight. (It couldn't be factory?)

Nice checkered grips.

It's got a broken "hand" so the cylinder doesn't rotate. I assume I can get a replacement part.

Other than that and a scratch in the cylinder, it's in worn, but good shape.

1. I've seen mixed reviews on Euroarms on this forum. What's the latest?
2. Cabellas has Pietta '58s for about $75 more than this used Euroarms.

It really looks like a shooter with the adjustable sights--and I prefer used guns with some history-- but I wont be able to return it if it's a lemon.

Euroarms 1858

I just bought one on Gunbroker.com he has one left consectutive to mine. 1858 Stainless Steel BD 1994 NIB, I think the starting bid is $200. I like Euroarms, also have an Armi San Paolo an Old one...same company now Euroarms. I'd take it for $75 and fit a hand in it.
Try here if you need parts.
