Early Christmas present.

Watching TV last week with the wife. I was looking at an ad in SGN for the Zastava Mini Mauser with the full stock. I said I was thinking about getting it despite being on a gun buying moratorium because I am saving towards buy a new house next year. She says "How about I buy it for you as a Christmas present?"

It arrived today.

I had a good chuckle at your comment there Chaz...

My wife almost refuses to buy me a gun (as a surprise), her explanation being that she wants me to be there to pick out exactly the one I want. Although I understand what she is saying, I am not going to not like any gun she would buy me.

BTW, she doesn't know it yet but her birthday present is a new 20 gauge 870. See, I have no problem getting her a gun...

I love those Mannlicher style stocks, I must get that from my father as he loved them as well. I hope it shoots as good as it looks.
