Just took in a .45ACP carbine. It's obviously a M3 grease gun derivative made to look kind of like a Thompson 1927. It fires from an open bolt and is surprisingly smooth to operate. Does anyone know anything about these carbines?

Here's a link to page 3 of a 5 page thread on them. This page even has an ad from the '60s. They were only made for a few years and appear to have a recall at one point.
