Eagle Arms - AR-15

Hello I was wondering if anyone knows the quality or has had experience with Eagle Arms AR-15s?

I saw one at a pawn shop for around 800$, it looked almost brand new(maybe it was, I didn't ask).

Is that a good/bad price?

How does Eagle Arms compare to other AR-15 manufactures?

$800 for a complete AR? Hmmm.

I would think that you are OK in the quality category--Eagle Arms is Armalite. But, $800.00 sounds a bit steep for a used AR with that brand.

I would proceed with caution. Make darned sure you do a GOOD inspection before buying. If you aren't knowledgeable about AR15's, take someone along who is.

Yes, its complete. I read old Eagle-Arms were Colt? but new ones are Armalite?

I am thinking it may be worth just purchasing a brand-new one for 100$ more and getting the factory warranty, if it was a huge steal it would be one thing - but it seems this deal isn't that great.

Don't know about any association with Colt. But on the thought of buying new, you are probably right.

Here's an idea--check out Stag Arms. Factory direct sales, and an excellent quality product--plus (if you're left handed) the only true left hand AR's out there.
