Dumping out the 200's

I fired up the custom Lee 358430 mold today (200 grains). That thing will go through em fast. I dropped a little over 10# this afternoon. I didn't weigh em, but the ProMelt was full to the brim (I believe that's 18#) and I used about 3/4 of it.
It was a good session. Not too hot yet, not too many mosquitoes (thanks to no rain in a month), but it was fun. :)

The 200 grain 38 bullet is one of the all time greats like the SWC.

The British police use or have used them in 38's, not a fast bullet and it
does not expand.
BUT when it hits something like bone or flesh it become unstable and starts
to tumble creating a massive wound. Or at least that's what I have read years ago.

I don't know, Unclenick. I can measure a couple of these when I get a chance.
I have one of the original molds too, but I'll have to dig around and find some cast, or cast some to get that measurement.
It was my understanding that they were the same except this one has a crimp groove and the original didn't.
