Dry firing

I wanted to know is it ok to dry fire my gp100 or should I get snap caps it say its ok in the manual but I still wanted to make sure what other people think thanks Eric

Dry fire it all you want, it won't hurt it one bit. When I got our house gun I would dry fire it for hours, strong hand then weak hand untill I could not pull the trigger any more. Then I'd hand it off to the wife and let her have at it. After a while the action smoothed up real nice, pretty good double action trigger pull.
