DPMS LR 243 Question

I have found a DPMS LR 243 with 20 inch blued barrel for $900 dollars. It supposedly has only 40rds down the pipe. It is very clean without a scratch on it and no visable wear. I am not very familiar with this rifle and am wondering do any of y'all know anything good or bad about this rifle (reliability, accuracy, quality). Is this a good deal, an okay deal, or a rip off. It isn't a must have purchase but don't want to miss a good deal if it is one. The website has them for signifcantly more than $900 but I don't think I have EVER paid MSRP for a gun.

I bought a LR-308 with a stainless, fluted 24" barrel when they first came out nearly 10 years ago. Great rifle. I believe I paid $950 or so. In today's market I would think you are looking at an okay deal. I believe if mine had been a 243 or 260 I would still have it. I became bored with mine and sold it. It was capable of .5 MOA with handloads. I am a DPMS fan and find nothing wrong with their quality.
