Is anybody shooting the Midway Dogtown 34 gr. 20 cal bullet in a 204 Ruger?
I can find loads for the Berger 35 using Hodgdon powders but I have lots of RL 15 (CCI 450 primers & Rem brass) so would prefer to use that. From looking at burn rates/loads for Varget looks like I could use about .7 gr less of RL 15 and obtain comparable FPS (I'm only looking for about 3700). If I can get even 1.5" groups I'll be happy with this inexpensive bullet-and save the super accurate 32 & 40 V-Max for serious P-dog shooting. I'll use the Dogtowns for my grandson and I to pop water jugs, cans etc.
