Does anyone else hate the waiting?

When you bed your rifle and you have to wait for the epoxy to cure to see if you did a good job or if you just messed up.

Waiting sucks. Don't forget to work the screws every 15-30 minutes; finding those "bedded" will ruin the rest of your day ...

Yeah I took the scew out 1 hr oufter. cleaned and re-greased. This particular project is a new 22" barrel on my 10/22. Whistle pig barrel. Im making a video of "How to bed a 10-22" and im putting it on youtube.

Some people reccomend the pressure bedding but I just bedded the v block and the first 2" of the BBL. Works for me : )


I took the screw out today(9 hrs later) and it came out fine. Another dab of grease and back into the rifle it went. Ill break the BBL off today at around 5 or 6

You know what sucks even more is the 10 day back ground check in CA... that REALLY sucks.

Try living in NJ
3 month waiting list for your FID and another 3 for every pistol permit you apply for. Then NICS can sometimes take a day or two >: |
