Absurdly easy to shoot my Kadet. I was pinging a small steel at 75 yards yesterday, every shot.

On a side note I finally got a chrono and tested the CCI ammo. 1050fps through the kadet slide.

Hey, something weird happened yeaterday. My slide is on my P01, and after a couple mags the full DA function of the trigger didn't work. I had a dud and went to pull the trigger again, but it didn't fully reset. It's as if the kit is looser on the P01 than it was with my 75bd.

Put the 9mm slide back on and see if function (with the gun unloaded) seems to be restored. The Kadet Kit itself just rides on the frame and should have almost no effect on the P-01's DA/SA trigger function -- so, unless something is catching in the Kit where the small moving insert (which is technically the "slide") moves back and forth -- the problem is most likely in the P-01 frame.

Make sure there's no JUNK in the frame after using the kit, or in the "slide" part of the kit that might be impeding movement. It could be that crap just built up in the Kit affecting smooth function.

If there's still a problem, call CZ-USA.

Yes, the Kadet. The Ciener units if you can find them. I wish I could find a conversion unit for the S&W M-639/M-659. I have seen conversion units for the Walther P-1 listed, they do not fit on the steel frame P-38 unfortunately.

yes..
kadet on a 85 combat single action..
advantage arms target on a combat commander frame..

both adapters are similar as a fixed barrel and the inner portion of slide moves, not entire slide..

both work good..feel good, and shoot good..

Yes - but - honestly? - I prefer a dedicated .22.

Is there anyone close by that has a 75b or even another P01 you can try it on?
Better yet, someone w/another Kadet you can try on your P01?

I'd be happy to help out if you were closer - but - Akron Ohio toe Louisville is a pretty good haul.

I've had my CZ Kadet Kit for over 12 years, and it has been great. About a year ago, CZ sent me the parts to upgrade it to the current configuration. New firing pin, firing pin spring, and retainer. All FREE from CZ.

My Kadet Kit practically lives on my 75B.

Sold mine off, figure its better to have dedicated. Don't want to break my gun, from use of another caliber. Plus its better to have two and not one.

If you're talking about the Kadet Kit -- and it may be that you're talking about something else -- the "dedicated" Kadet Pistol is the standard 9mm frame with a Kadet Kit mounted on it -- and there's no way to "break" the frame using a .22 conversion kit.

If you're talking about another conversion kit, but a kit on a different type of guns, it's still really no different: the kits do NOT place undue strain on the frame. If anything, shooting the kit on the standard frame (OR related components) will be less wearing on the base gun than shooting the the gun with the standard (9mm, .40) top-end mounted.

It MAY be better FOR YOU to have two (guns), not one -- and only YOU can decide what's best for you -- but for me, I like having a "tuned" trigger that is the SAME with both calibers.
