do navy parts interchange from different manufacturers?

lets say i buy a uberti 1851... would parts from a pietta work? barrels,cyls,triggers etc...?? what about fie's or colts? are all the replicas "copies" of the orginal?

I've seen some threads showing different makes of reproductions side by side, showing the differences. You can see that one barrel is thicker than another, and so on. I've also noticed that the cartridge converters available for some cap and ball revolvers are brand-specific; there are versions for Pietta and versions for Uberti, etc. Therefore I wouldn't expect the parts to interchange.
