I've really gotten into ruger P95's recently(own 2), and now would like info on duribility has any one seen or heard of a test to breakage of the P95, and if so what broke? The one I carry every day is approaching 3000 rds with no problems; I realize this is just break in for a glock; but, would like some real info. thanks.

I have a P95 too. I recall reading that it was designed to compete with the Beretta and SIG for the military contract, and that Ruger test-fired several examples over 10,000 times without a breakage. Everyone I've talked to about Rugers says they're way over-engineered and durable as all get out.

Hey David,
I do know at this time Ruger has over 40,000 test rounds throgh their test gun which includes 9mm, 9mm+P and +P+, I spoke with the manager of the engineering Dept shortly before I bought mine about 3 weeks ago.
