Actually, that's not too surprising. Kodak was more than just film- they were once a very good maker of precision optics. I believe they supplied a lot of high precision cameras for aerial reconaissance photography for the USAAF during WW2. Didn't know about them making scopes, though.

Eastman Kodak MARKETED a lot of photographic equipment. However most of it was made by someone else & sold with the Kodak brand name on it.

Kodak? Not one of the fourteen manufacturers that Laidler lists in his sniper rifle book. The MkI scopes are Vickers, W. Watson, Houghton-Butcher or Kershaw. It's an Enfield, never say never.
