Hidden underneath the supposed response by bin Laden [likely long dead] being trumpeted by al-Jazeera is the likelihood that Mohammed Khalifa, UBL's brother-in-law, masterminded the terrorist bombing in Bali, an island-country with overwhelmingly Hindu roots.
Despite being warned by the US and Australia that al-Q'aida attacks were not only possible but likely, the Indonesian gov't. has had a massive intelligence/security failure that might collapse it's authority and further the Islamist insurrection there.
There are many similarities between the attack on October 12th [the anniversary of the attack in Yemen on the USS Cole] and September 11th, but one stands out:
Bali is the "cash-cow" for Djakarta...a symbol of economic prosperity that is the sort attractive to al-Q'aida worldwide.
Assuming the theory is valid, what is the next symbol in America that the terror network seeks to destroy? Where can they hurt us the most by striking next?
