Is there a way to get through to them. When I call during the day, I get a busy signal. When I call after hours I get a recording. I tried emailing.

As far as I know, you just have to dial like a demon. They have neither a web site nor email.

It's either that, or shop elsewhere, unfortunately.

I think..

..That they are getting up in years and losing the ability to run the business. The last time I got hold of anyone there, the lady told me that the snow was kicking their butt. She had agreed to look up some parts for me but never did. I called back and, just as you, I spent a lot of time trying to get hold of them. She had forgotten to look up the parts and then gave the "snow excuse"

I was disappointed because I had enjoyed doing business with them previously.

I will be seeing them in June and I will talk to them. I'll bet they don't even
know about these fourms and how lots of people have become distastifed
with there business lately. Me too.

i wonder if dixie gun works may have any parts that could be used with minor fitting?

aren't these deerfield rifles just CVA parts cloned under a another name?

i purchased a small caplock .50cal hawken style rifle off of traditional muzzleloading forum years ago. it has been a dandy lil' rifle and very accurate. all i ever needed to do was adjust the hammer on it with torch & patience.

the buttstock plate is a little off and one day i'm tackle that.

hope you all find your parts............
