Just after picking up the Dan Wesson Pointman 7, I figured it needed something...
Here's the base version:
And here it is with some additional Stainless and different wood:
That is a Smith & Alexander magwell in stainless with a flat mainspring housing. This is a one piece unit, and well done from the package. No major tweaks were needed for it to fit nice and snug. I figured it needed some shaping and blending in the well, so under the file it went. The grips are simple cocobolo smooth grips made for the magwell length.
Here's the blend. It may have to get tweaked later, but it was all the patience I had for now.
